Most of my mosaics are made on refurbished, well-made old household items that have served their purpose and then became worn-out and unwanted; I give them a second chance. Wherever it was made before, now it becomes ReMADE in USA!
I look for old frames, mirrors, jewelry boxes, and vases at thrift shops and flea markets. I clean each find, hand-cut each stained glass piece, grout the mosaic and then seal it with grout sealant.
I don’t use any templates or pre-cut mosaic tiles. The recycled stained glass scrap dictates my design patterns and color combinations making each mosaic unique and one-of-a-kind.
