I made this sunflower mosaic with recycled stained glass scrap on a vintage refurbished teak wood trivet. The wooden base needed some cleaning up and re-staining, but the round trivet is well made with raised top layer. This functional recycled stained glass art makes a really beautiful table centerpiece.
Custom Green Mosaic Cross
The custom process starts with color selection. Once a customer chooses colors available from my scrap glass, I start the process and keep my client updated at every step. The cross is painted; a mosaic is created, grouted and sealed. The client receives it and loves it (I hope). This green cross was requested by a returning customer. Thank you Jamie!
Upcycled Wooden Box
Upcycled wooden box with 100% recycled materials: A blue iris mosaic upgrade saves this well-made wooden box from being wasted. Recycled stained glass scrap makes this beautiful blue iris with iridescent accents. To keep the original paint, a little sanding around the edges gives rustic appearance and keeps the box authentic.
Upcycled Olives Pan
This heavy recycled cast iron pan was upcycled into a rustic kitchen wall decor with glass olive mosaic using recycled stained glass scrap. It can be used as a unique large coaster or trivet for a small pot. Each glass piece is hand-cut and laid out inside the pan, grouted gray to match pan color, and sealed for protection
Mosaic Blue Dahlia
Blue Mosaic Dahlia candle holder / vase made with 100% recycled glass. The clear glass vase is from thrift shop, and recycled stained glass scrap is from local stained glass studios and workshops. These transparent blues, reds, teals, and yellows look amazing in the window!
